Please
join the Hot Flashes MS Walk team in the fight against multiple
sclerosis
For those who have not done MS Walks before,
they are fundraisers for the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society and are held each year in the spring. The primary goal of the MS Walks is to raise money
for research, treatment, and support services to help people with
multiple sclerosis. However, the fun that you have doing the
walk and socializing with your teammates, and any premiums that you
earn based on the amount of money you raise, are definite bonuses. The Hot Flashes team has
been doing the MS Walk every
year since 2000 (see Team
History); in 2023 we participated at two Walk sites, in Westchester and Rockland counties. We
are proud of the fact that the team has raised a cumulative total of over $730,000 so far.
Much progress has been made
in the battle against multiple sclerosis, but much more remains to be
done. Since the 2023 MS Walks have already taken place, I can't ask you to join the team for them.
But I am already recruiting for 2024, which will be the
team's 25th year doing the MS Walk! If you would be interested in
