Please join the Hot Flashes MS Walk team in the fight against multiple sclerosis

For those who have not done MS Walks before, they are fundraisers for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and are held each year in the spring. The primary goal of the MS Walks is to raise money for research, treatment, and support services to help people with multiple sclerosis. However, the fun that you have doing the walk and socializing with your teammates, and any premiums that you earn based on the amount of money you raise, are definite bonuses. The Hot Flashes team has been doing the MS Walk every year since 2000 (see Team History) - this will be our 26th year!! We are proud of the fact that the team has raised a total of over $770,000 so far. Much progress has been made in the battle against multiple sclerosis, but much more remains to be done. Please Join Us as a member of the Hot Flashes MS Walk team for 2025.

In 2025, the Hot Flashes team will be participating in the Westchester MS Walk, which will be held at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle on Sunday, May 4, 2025. You can also participate as a Virtual Walker, walking in your own community (and even at a different time), if you wish.

Here's some more information about the MS Walks:

Team members ask others to sponsor them with a contribution to the M.S. Society. There is no minimum required fundraising total, but I hope you will raise a lot. In the past, some Hot Flashes team members have raised several hundred dollars or even thousands of dollars. The MS Society typically gives out premiums to individuals in order to encourage fundraising.

My goals for 2025 are to have at least 200 team members and to raise a team total of at least $40,000. Please Join Us, and please ask your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and relatives to join us as well.
